July Highlights

I have been so bad at keeping up with these edits! Excited to get back into it starting with a recap of July including some life updates, the launch of my Few Moda collection, Martha’s Vineyard recommendations and of course my most worn pieces from the month.

Most Worn

Let’s start with my most worn pieces from this month/ the summer!

  • I’m late to the party, but I now own three washes of these Levis’s. Relaxed fit, straight (ish) leg and very flattering — size down (I wear 24x30)

  • My Tkees sandals on repeat (I have Cocobutter) and then these sandals are a more recent addition, but they’re so comfortable and the darker brown suede is perfect for late summer

  • My Etsy straw bag comes with me everywhere — love that it can read casual or more elevated

  • I finally got my favorite crewneck sweater in this Oatmeal color — I have the grey and wear it constantly. I take a small and it’s $50

  • My tried and true Amazon favorites are still on heavy rotation — the best ankle socks, these striped beach towels and the cutest floral pouch. One new Amazon purchase for me was this zip up sweatshirt that I love (size Medium)

Few Moda x me!

I’ve also been wearing my Few Moda collection on repeat! This was such a fun and exciting milestone for me. I wanted all of the pieces to be wearable and for you to reach for them over and over again. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but here are my most worn currently:

  • The Madalyn Maxi skirt — I have always loved the versatility of a maxi skirt. I’ve been wearing it with a tank or a tee and sandals, but will carry it into fall with a chunky sweater and flats. I wear xs

  • The Market Maxi — summer in the city has been hot! This style is so easy on a 90 degree day, but still feels elevated. I recently styled it with a sweater over top to make it look like a skirt and loved the look. I wear xs

  • The Tisbury Button Down + Edgartown Short — a no brainer summer outfit and they’re great styled as separates too. I wear s in the button down and xs in the shorts

  • The Zinnia Mini — the perfect shade of red, a high neckline and a swingy shape. Just such a fun mini moment to have in your wardrobe. I wear xs

A new chapter

A big life update! I received so many sweet messages about my decision to step back from my full time job at Alice Walk. It was one of the hardest decisions — I started working with AW back in 2019 fresh out of college and have seen the brand grow in countless ways. The women behind the brand are wildly smart, kind and incredibly supportive. I’m not sure what’s next just yet! I have loved connecting with all of you through styling, brand partners and this newsletter so have decided to focus on that for now and see where it leads! Thank you for all of your love and support — I feel so incredibly lucky.

Martha’s Vineyard recap

Let’s end with a quick Martha’s Vineyard recap! Every year my family and I spend a week in Edgartown and it's my favorite week of the year. I’ve been going to the Vineyard since I was a little girl and every time I drive off the ferry, I just breathe the biggest sigh of relief. It’s heaven on earth — and holds so many special memories. This summer was another memorable one because it was my nephews first time on the island. He’s 6 months now and he didn’t sleep a wink (his poor parents), but had so many fun firsts! Many of you said you had upcoming trips so I’m listing a few of our yearly favorites.

  • We rent an airbnb in Edgartown — if you can find something within walking distance to town, that’s ideal

  • Our first stop off of the ferry is always Bad Martha’s, which is a very relaxed brewery. They had live music and it’s just a fun spot to hangout

  • Rosewater is our favorite coffee shop — Pat and I take a daily walk to grab a bite and coffee/tea and then walk around the neighborhoods. I could walk around and look at the houses for hours

  • South Beach is where we typically go for a beach day. If you want something more low key, Lighthouse Beach is closer to town and more kid friendly since it’s on the bay side. Espresso Love is a good spot to grab sandwiches

  • Edgartown Meat & Fish is great to pick up fresh fish if you’re looking to cook dinner at home (which we do most nights)

  • The Seafood Shanty for a beer and the best buffalo chicken tenders of your life

  • We always end the trip at Harborview Hotel — we grab a drink at the bar and sit on the porch and reflect on another great trip

  • Sunset at State Beach — this is where Pat and I got engaged! We bring some champs and a speaker and just enjoy the view

  • The Carousel in Oak Bluffs — I’m 29 and will forever ride the flying horses

  • The Good Shoppe — a new candy store in Oak Bluffs. 12/10

  • Waterside Market has great sandwiches in Vineyard Haven

  • The Chilmark Flea Market has some cute vendors and is just a fun way to drive and see more of the island

  • Before we head to the ferry on Saturday, we take a pit stop at the West Tisbury Farmers Market for a stroll and snack

  • Some other ideas that we don’t do every year, but if it’s your first time to the island: Menemsha sunset, Aquinnah Cliffs, Rent bikes
